Winter walking & Snow-shoeing
On your snow-shoes you can literally step off the beaten track into a winter wonderland of snow peaks and breathtaking panoramas. Meanwhile specially prepared footpaths offer excellent easy trails through snowy countryside in your normal walking boots.
Anyone who enjoys alpine walking during the summer will love being able to discover these stunning landscapes in winter. During three days of the holiday don snow-shoes and head off the beaten track. Away from the hoards of downhill skiers, appreciate the tranquillity and profound beauty of winter. Snowy peaks radiate as far as the eye can see, the winter sun, warm on the back, casts long shadows across virgin snow and freshly fallen snow glistens on the branches of fir trees. The remaining two days of the programme are spent in the valleys and on lower mountain slopes enjoying quiet walks and exploring local villages.

Detailed information
| Your accommodation |
 |
We use a wide variety of hotels ranging from small, rural inns to large hotels with a range of facilities. Our choice of accommodation depends on what is the most suitable option in the resorts that we visit. Our preference, however, is for friendly family-run hotels where we know that our guests will be made particularly welcome.

For your comfort and peace of mind we work with many of the leading airlines using mostly scheduled flights. Wherever possible we offer direct flights from London or Manchester and can often arrange connecting flights from UK regional airports.
Alternatively all our holidays are available without flights allowing you maximum flexibility to drive to the resort or make your own flight arrangements, perhaps from overseas or with one of the many 'low cost' airlines.
