To safeguard and administer the Society's interests with regard
to the successful operation, care and maintenance of the House. |

To satisfy the requirements of the guests as indicated in current
HF Holidays brochures. |

To ensure the achievement of the highest level of guest satisfaction. |

To ensure the achievement of the highest standard of catering within the
budgeted costs. |
 |
To ensure the achievement of the highest standards of hygiene, maintenance,
security and appearance of grounds and gardens. |
 |
To ensure the health and safety of guests and staff in line with current Health
and Safety Regulations. |
 |
To foster and maintain effective public relations with suppliers, contractors,
landowners, publicans and residents, transport operators and all parties contracted
or concerned in any way with or by the operation of the House. |

To take responsibility for and to ensure the effective motivation and administration
of all staff employed on site, and achievement in all aspects of welfare, enjoyment
or discipline. To co-ordinate with the HR Department before considering or actioning
any form of dismissal or disciplinary action. |

To be responsible for the detailed administration procedures for the operation
of the House, in particular the allocation of accommodation. |

To control all supplies and purchases in accordance with nominated suppliers.
To ensure that sufficient and adequate equipment is available to run the House's
operation and to ensure the care, security and maintenance of this equipment.
To ensure that adequate notice is given in writing to the Properties Manager (UK)
of any shortfalls in equipment stocks to meet forthcoming operational demands. |

To hold an imprest and to account for all monies paid out and collected for
and on behalf of HF Holidays. |

To assist in the engagement of staff. To ensure effective recruitment, supervision
of induction, encouraging development, appraising performance, providing the necessary
training for promotion, recommending to the HR Department such staff who are capable
of promotion and such staff whose employment should be discontinued. |

. To provide supervision and cover the duties personally, if necessary, in
the absence of any Department Head or member of staff. |

To effect arrangements for minor and emergency repairs within a given financial
limit. |
 |
To ensure that the documented HF Holidays policies for fire, health and safety,
employment etc., are adhered to. |
 |
To liaise with HF Holidays Walking and Special Interest Leaders so that you
are aware that they are fulfilling their responsibilities, to ensure our guests
have an enjoyable and successful holiday. |
