| New brochures launched in style |

 |
Our 2005 brochures were launched in style at a special day in the Lake District on 22 September. Seventy-five specially invited guests were among the first to see our new Walking Holidays and Inspirations brochures for 2006. Chief Executive Peter Chapman formally unveiled the brochures and told the assembled guests of the very positive impact already made by the new brochure design. A leisurely lunch provided an opportunity to meet with staff from our London and Penrith offices, and relax in the comfortable surroundings of Derwent Bank. In the afternoon guests were offered a selection of guided walks in the local area. These either headed along the beautiful wooded lakeshore of Derwent Water, or to the summit of Cat Bells, one of the best viewpoints in this corner of the Lake District. The Walking Holidays 2006 brochure contains our largest ever selection of holidays, including a wealth of new destinations such as Swanage, Guernsey, Croatia, Kenya and Cyprus. Inspirations 2006 contains a staggering 207 different Special Interest holidays, with many new ideas to whet your appetite. Our new brochures will be mailed to members starting on Monday 26 September and for non-members on Monday 3 October. 2006 holidays will be live on our website from Tuesday 4 October. |

| Discover two destinations in one holiday this autumn |
26 September 05 |
 |
Escape to Spain this autumn and combine two of our superb locations in the warmer climes of the unspoilt National Parks in Southern Spain.
Visit Mecina , in the Alpujarras region of Spain, set in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, has excellent walking opportunities. On guided walks through the hills and valleys you'll be absorbed in a relaxed rural lifestyle as featured in Chris Stewart's book 'Driving over Lemons'. About an hour away is the enchanting city of Granada , dominated by the awe-inspiring Alhambra Palace . So popular has been this combination that our guests voted it their 'Holiday of the Year'.
Andalucia , in southern Spain, offers great guided walks in the hills of the Sierra Almijara head off the beaten track to discover unspoilt corners making it ideal for an autumn holiday. We also follow tracks along the terraced hillsides to the neighbouring villages of Frigiliana and Sayalonga. After the walks there will be plenty of time to relax around the hotel pool.
The historic town of Ronda is poised dramatically atop two 600ft cliffs and separated by an impressive gorge. This is a bustling town, full of character and facilities, which makes it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding countryside. Enjoy walks in the rugged scenery of the local National Parks and retreat to a popular hotel located next to Ronda's famous gorge and bridge.
Combine any two of these locations this autumn to make you ideal break and with many regional flights to Malaga, it couldn't be easier to get there. For more details please call our Reservations Team on 0845 470 7558 or email reservations@hfholidays.co.uk
