Sightseeing holidays

Our City Breaks offer short holidays in some of Europe's most fascinating and celebrated cities. Our set daily programmes involve active sightseeing which allow our Leaders to show our guests both famous sights and hidden corners.
Currently we offer City Breaks in: Paris, Bruges, Amsterdam, Venice, Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Berlin, Prague, Copenhagen, Budapest, Moscow & St Petersburg and Edinburgh.

Our Explorer tours are more gentle tours by coach lasting 7 nights. Mainly devoted to regional sightseeing, they also include short walks of up to two miles a day. They are centre-based.

Currently we offer Explorer tours in Jersey, Malta, Sorrento, Lake Garda, the Loire, Tuscany, Mallorca, the Tyrol and the Dordogne.

If you are confident, sociable and diplomatic , and communicate easily with people from a variety of backgrounds and nationalities, you could be a valued member of our team.

We are looking for candidates with some experience of leading groups abroad who are able to impart their interest in culture and history. Language skills are essential for several of the cities we visit. You should also have a valid emergency first aid certificate (we can help you gain this).

How to become a Sightseeing Leader

The first step is to fill in an application form (see below). If your initial application is successful you will be invited to attend a two-day residential assessment weekend. During this, you will be assessed on your party management skills and city interpretation. This will include a practical, outdoor, exercise where you'll have the opportunity to lead a small group sightseeing. We shall also test your language skills if applicable.

Click here to contact Alex Greenwood and order an application form.
