Day 1: Depart UK
Day 2: Arrive Calcutta - 1 night

Days 3-5: Fly to Bagdogra, transfer to Darjeeling (3 nights) for walks through the forests and tea estates and a ride on the Darjeeling Railway. |
Days 6-7: Drive into Sikkim to Pemayangtse (2 nights) for walks to the Tibetan-influenced monasteries and their spectacular backdrops.
Days 8-9: Arriving in Yuksom (2 nights) we walk alongside the Prek Chu River and holy Kecheoplari lake.
Day 10: Continue to Gangtok (1 night) and visit the Ganesh Tok viewpoint.
Days 11-13: Arrive in Martam (3 nights)and walk through remote communities.
Days 14-15: Continue to Kalimpong (2 nights) in West Bengal, along terraced hillsides.
Day 16: Fly to Calcutta (1 night).
Day 17: Return flight to the UK.

Day 1: Depart UK

Days 3-4: A spectacular flight to Paro (2 nights) for walks past monasteries and palaces. |
Day 5: Hike to Taktsang Monastery, perched on the cliffs. We continue to Thimpu (1 night).
Days 6-7: Explore Thimpu, the quiet capital city. We drive to Punakha (2 nights) and visit Punakha Dzong in the ‘male’ and ‘female’ river valleys.
Days 8-11: Trek through the breathtaking Phobjikha and Bumthang Valleys (4 nights); few places on Earth offer such a pure and untouched environment.
Day 12: Drive back to Punakha (1 night) and walk in the Limukha valley.
Day 13: Travel to Thimphu, explore the market and then continue to Paro (1 night).
Day 14: Fly to Kathmandu (1 night).
Day 15: Return flight.
