The hotels ranged from very good to wonderful (I really did not expect to stay in 5* accommodation, but thoroughly enjoyed it) The meals too were excellent. HF Holidays certainly gave us value for money....Good solid bikes just right for the job. Bike bags were excellent.

Hotels Ernst & Jagerwirt were really excellent for staff, meals and very clean. E xcellent maps, all routes very well sign posted, all boat trips & ferries well organised. Very hard to improve. We were extremely impressed with how well everything was organised

Cycling Holiday

Hungary

Hungarian Spa Tour

I had a wonderful time! The organisation was superb and the worries I had (would I be able to find the hotel in Budapest from the airport and was I too old at 75 to manage the distances) proved to be unnecessary. There was a certain magic in lying in a warm pool after a days cycling, looking at the stars and having paper cups of champagne handed down to you. Thank you very much for a splendid holiday I have only recently taken to riding my bike again but I am already looking forward to another.

Just to say I really enjoyed the Hungarian Spa Tour. We had a small group, 10 including our wonderful guide. It was probably the best group experience I've had, and the 'cultural mix' definitely contributed. I think I'm hooked on Hungary now, and plan to make return visits, both cycling and sightseeing. I originally chose HF Holidays' because I've met people who've been on your walking expeditions in Wales, and they talked about the high level of organisation and professionalism used by your guides.

Vienna to Budapest

We have just enjoyed the most excellent holiday. Good food, and plenty of it, easy cycling even though this was a two bike rating. Our guide was knowledgable and our driver was exceptional, he really made all the difference. His English was very good which was helpful, as most of the other cyclists were German, he had a wonderfully cheery disposition, and couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our holiday. Last year we did the Loire Cruise and cycle, which was also a wonderful holiday. Our only problem is deciding which one to try next. Many thanks.
