Book the perfect group getaway in Britain; take either the entire Country House accommodation or a selection of the rooms.

Our prices start from just £118 for a two-night weekend break. We include all your meals, use of the facilities from indoor pools and painting studios to boot and drying rooms and spa pools. Whether you're a party of walkers, cyclists, dancers or bridge players - whatever your activity - our warm welcome atmosphere will ensure your stay is well organised and relaxing.

Details of group holiday costs can be found in the price list on the right. Included in these prices is:

• A FREE place for you, the group organiser.
• £100 HOLIDAY DISCOUNT VOUCHER for the group organiser towards a HF Holidays' Walking or Leisure Activities holiday in one of our UK Country Houses.
• ALL YOUR MEALS commencing with afternoon tea and biscuits when you arrive, evening meal, picnic lunches (including departure day) and breakfast each day.
• CANCELLATION COVER in case you need to reduce your party numbers by up to 10% of the original size.
• HELPFUL, EXPERIENCE STAFF, to help you plan all your arrangements. For large groups a free preview visit maybe available - ask for details.
• NO EXTRA FOR premium rooms if sole occupancy.

Go for the GOLD plan

Take a holiday with your group every 12 months and we'll give you and your group up to 15% off the price of your holiday.

Our groups Loyalty GOLD Plan provides excellent value for your group members.

• After you make your first booking, your next booking within 12 months could earn a 5% discount, a third booking within another 12 months could receive a 10% discount, and a fourth booking within a further 12-month period could give a 15% discount on the total value of the booking, excluding any supplements.
• Each booking must be for a minimum of 25 adults for at least two nights and the holiday date of each booking should be no more than 12 months apart to qualify for the increasing discount.
• If, in any year, your group booking does not meet the conditions above, then your next booking will again be treated as your first booking for discount purposes.
• The GOLD scheme is subject to availability and only available to groups booking accommodation only in Britain with HF Holidays and not for Classic Walking and Special Interest holidays. Group leader FREE places continue to apply. This scheme is not available to travel agents, tour operators or for accommodation only groups with less than 25 adults.

Booking your group getaway

Just as soon as you have decided on your group requirements and the dates you would prefer, telephone our Groups Team direct on 0845 470 7557 (outside UK +44 (0) 208 732 1260. Your enquiry will proceed as follows:

1. Availability of your chosen date will be confirmed, any additional information you may require will be given and it is recommended that you make a provisional reservation.

2. Your provisional reservation will be acknowledged in writing and you will be sent a booking agreement to sign and return. At the same time you will be issued with a record of the accommodation provisionally booked for your party.

Your provisional booking will be held for up to 4 weeks without obligation after which time a non-refundable holding deposit of £100 will be required to secure your reservation. On receipt of this holding deposit you will receive a group leaders pack.

3. Further non-refundable deposits of £35 per person are required one month after the date of holding deposit.

If your booking is made within 12 weeks of the start of your holiday no holding deposit will be required and the non-refundable deposit per person will be required within 10 days of the provisional booking being made. No deposit is required for free place entitlement. If both deposits are paid by the original due dates a discount of £2 per person will apply.

4. Receipt of the deposit will be acknowledged within 14 days and a confirmation invoice sent (this will confirm accommodation reserved). Final payment should be made at the latest 6 weeks prior to the date of travel.

5. Your final details will be required approximately 12 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. At this time the names of the members of your group will be required with any special requirements or additional needs they may have.

6. Upon receipt of the final payment, your travel documents will be dispatched. Should there be any charges to your original requirements, notification should be in writing from the group organiser. As you will appreciate excessive amendments constitute extra administration and may be subject to an amendment fee.

Additional nights
For groups who wish to extend their group booking from the packages shown in the prices list, please click here to ask for rates.

Walks directions
If you are a group organising your own walks, we will be happy to make available for hire detailed walks directions to help you in your planning.

Each walk has been thoroughly researched by our own Leaders for our Classic Walking holidays and a small hire charge of £100 per group will be detailed on your invoice, which should be taken to the Country House accommodation as confirmation of the amount paid. At the end of your stay, £50 will be refunded to you by the House Manager if the maps are returned in good condition. Maps are made available on arrival.

If you are sharing the Country House with a walking holiday, availability of certain walks directions will be dependent on the requirements of the holidays running at the time of your visit.

Travel arrangements
Transfers between the local station and Country House accommodation can also be arranged. If your group wishes to travel from your home town to the Country House accommodation by coach, quotations can be supplied on request.
