| Both kids and adults just love our multi-activity adventure breaks,
now with an even greater choice of activities, places and times. We
give the kids real excitement and adventure appropriate to their age
during full days out, and return late afternoon having done our best
to wear them out. A resident instructor provides some structured
activity back at the hotel but we also make sure there is plenty of
time for them to make friends and generally have a ball! Meanwhile
the adults have time to themselves. A full choice of day walks from
our Classic Walking programme means no compromise; no “let’s
make it shorter for the kids” - just true relaxation doing what you
want while they do what they want.
We use only AALA approved activity centres, selected with care,
primarily with safety in mind but also for their ability to motivate and
build confidence. All specialist equipment is provided. Children are
grouped according to age on each holiday in order to give maximum
enjoyment and must be English speaking unless accompanied by a
companion able to translate.

Brecon Beacons: a classic location for a full week of outdoor
adventure! Rock climbing, gorge exploration, abseiling, orienteering,
mountain walking, caving, boat building and a beach day including
games and beachcombing. Minimum age 8.
Dartmoor: as well as rock climbing and abseiling, kids will
have brilliant fun letterboxing on this brand new short break. Use the
clues to find each letterbox (a small box) containing a stamp and
visitors’ book hidden on the moor; a fantastic treasure hunt on a
grand scale. Minimum age 8.
Snowdonia: the mountains of Snowdonia provide a backdrop to the
activity centre on the Menai Straits. A full week offers sailing and
canoeing as well as coasteering (traversing the coast by climbing,
swimming and jumping - a real adrenalin rush), rock climbing and
abseiling. The new short break offers coasteering, kayaking and raft
building, plus surf boarding if the weather is right. Minimum age 8.
Lake District, Derwentwater and Conistonwater: a full week in
arguably the prettiest of mountain locations offers rock climbing,
abseiling, caving, a mountain day, canoeing, sailing and archery. The
new short break at Conistonwater includes rock climbing, ghyll
scrambling and canoeing. Minimum age 10.
Cornwall: kids will love our new purely water based adventure
week. We take them to the Falmouth estuary each day for kayaking,
Canadian canoeing, windsurfing, dinghy sailing, raft building and
beach games. Body boarding is on the programme too if weather
allows. Very wet and huge fun. Minimum age 6.
Suggested activities are weather dependent and suitably challenging
adventures may be substituted where necessary.
