Altachorvie is beautifully set amid gardens on a hillside on the
east coast of the island, with views across the beach and Lamlash Bay to Holy
Island. It is convenient for ferries, banks and other facilities in Brodick,
the islands port 3 miles north. The hotel makes an excellent base to explore the
island of Arran. Known as 'Scotland in miniature' the Isle of Arran offers a diverse
range of walks. The island lies in the Clyde Estuary near to Mull of Kintyre.

a high level of service. A warm welcome from caring staff awaits you. Our Country House accommodation caters exclusively for our guests and the atmosphere is very much
like a house party - it's all a far cry from the anonymity of a conventional hotel.
Public Rooms - Bar, lounge, conservatory, dance room with games area.
Facilities - Boot room, drying room, laundry facilities, mini-shop,
croquet, putting, short tennis and badminton.
No Smoking - Altachorvie is designated as non-smoking. Smoking is also
not allowed on transport provided during any holiday.

rooms are available. Most have en-suite facilities (shower

the South , approach via Junction 8 on the M74. If you intend to take your car
