On these holidays there is a choice of two guided walks for varying abilities each day.
ITINERARY
Day 1: arrival day |
|
Day 2: visit Fethiye’s bustling market then walk through the fields across the promontory and take a boat to explore beautiful Gemiler Island.
Day 3: admire the magnificent white beach and the ancient ruined city of Patara, reached via peaceful pine forests and the historic Roman aqueduct.
Day 4: walk along the Lycian Way, noted as one of the top ten walks in the world by the Sunday Times, with Baba Dag˘ (Father Mountain) providing a stunning backdrop.
Day 5: free day - sail across Fethiye’s stunning Bay of Twelve islands and enjoy an alfresco lunch or simply relax by Ölü Deniz’s turquoise lagoon or one of the hotel’s swimming pools.
Day 6: follow the old trading paths to the deserted Greek village of Kayaköy, the inspiration for Louis de Bernieres’ Birds Without Wings, then descend down pine clad slopes to Ölü Deniz’s lagoon.
Day 7: enjoy a day of outstanding coastal views and traditional villages as we follow the Lycian Way from Faralaya to Kabak and return by boat via Butterfly Valley sea conditions permitting.

Further information will be sent to you prior to your holiday; however the final selection of walks will be made by your walking leaders.

local transport (payable locally in Euros), excluding your free day.

Your leaders will carry a number of maps and guides for this
holiday. If you would like to obtain one for your own enjoyment
it is normally only possible to purchase large scale tourist
